Meet Luna!

Meet Luna!

Luna
Heeler Mix
Female
2 months old
15 lbs. (and growing!)

How do you feel about super cute, sweet playful puppies? I’m guessing you think they’re pretty awesome, and let me tell you, I am one of the best.

I’m Luna and I have all the best qualities in a puppy. I love to run and play with toys, and being around my humans is my favorite thing. I’m not overbearing about it though, instead when I want attention, I very politely nudge my people with my paws so they know I’m up for a pet and a cuddle.

I get along fine with other dogs, but I don’t need canine friends to enjoy myself. I’m pretty good at keeping myself entertained. I haven’t met any kids yet, but my my foster mom thinks I’d do just fine with them because of how nice and mellow I am.

Those are just the basics though, there’s so much more to me! To find out what else I have to offer, email my friends at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org and take a look at this information page: pawsco.org/adoptions.

Meet Amos!

Meet Amos!

Amos
Labrador Mix
Male
7 years old
100 lbs.

Are you looking for a big, fluffy pile of sweetness? Maybe a little bit clumsy in a charming way? If so, I’m the guy for you.

My name is Amos and I love to run and play like a puppy even though I’m middle-aged in dog years. I love people and getting any kind of affection is just my favorite! I didn’t have a whole lot of training in my younger years, so it would be good for me to have a little bit now, but I’m still a pretty well-behaved boy.

I like to play in water and with the people that I meet. I make friends really quickly and would definitely like to meet you! But just because I’m so big, it might be a good idea if I’m around older kids instead of younger ones.

What do you think? Are you in the market for a sweet new friend who will keep you company and make you laugh? Email my friends at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org and check out this information page pawsco.org/adoptions.

Meet Tug!

Meet Tug!

Tug
American Staffordshire Terrier Mix
Male
1 year old
67 lbs.

Hey guys! My name is Tug and I’m so excited to be here at PawsCo! I came from a shelter that I didn’t like very much, so I’m having a great time with my foster family. But want I want more than anything is to find a forever family of my very own.

I’m a well-balanced dog who learns easily and is eager to please. Like any dog my age, I love to run and play, especially with other dogs. I have plenty of energy for long walks and hikes, but can also chill out at home with my people.

I get along great with all people and with kids, but I’m a little too curious about cats, so it’s probably best if I don’t have any in my forever house with me. I have great manners in the house and on the leash, and I know some tricks too! Because of my past, I haven’t experienced a whole lot of the world, but I am really good at learning with the right instruction.

Belly rubs are some of my favorite things, and my foster mom says I have a super plush coat that you’re going to love petting! What do you think? Ready to meet an all-around great dog and see if it’s a match? Email adopt@pawscoadoptions.org and visit this information page: pawsco.org/adoptions.

Meet Percy!

Meet Percy!

Percy
Labrador Retriever/American Bulldog Mix
Female
9 years old
70 lbs.

Hi! As I’m sure you can tell by my smile, I am a total sweetheart and I just can’t wait to give all my love to an amazing forever family.

I love every person I meet and I’m so gentle with kids. I have a really easy going energy and I’m happy with relaxing around the house and enjoying moderate exercise. Just one good 1- to 2-mile walk each day is enough to tire me out! Then, I’m ready for my favorite activity: cuddling! I also love to roll on the ground and do this cute snorting. I’ll even snore myself to sleep! I live with a few dogs in my foster home and, while it took me a bit of time to build trust for them, I do really well and even play with them when I’m in a playful mood! As long as a dog is friendly and accepting of me, I will do well with a dog in a forever home as well as long as my new family can help me build that initial trust. I haven’t met any cats yet so I’m not sure how I would do with a cat friend.

If you open your home to me, it’s important to know that I have something called Cushing’s Disease, which basically means that my body produces too much of a hormone called cortisol. Not to worry as I am on medication that manages the disease and makes me feel so much better! I am also on a blood pressure medication as well. The total cost of my medication is about $85-$100/month (depending on where you get the prescriptions filled.) I’m hoping for a very special family who will love me for my big heart and take care of my health so that we can enjoy many happy memories together.

So if you’re looking for a smiley girl to brighten each day, please email my friends at PawsCo at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org and visit this information page: pawsco.org/adoptions to learn more about me. Thank you so much!

Meet Minnie!

Meet Minnie!

Minnie
American Staffordshire Terrier Mix
Female
2 years old
44 lbs.

Whew, sorry I’m a little out of breath. I have a hard time slowing down from playing sometimes, but for a forever family, I can definitely take a break!

My name is Minnie, and I just love to run and play. Hiking, jogging, I love it all. And if you like those things too, we might just be a match. I love to play with toys and with other dogs too, and my foster mom says it’s especially cute to watch me play with little dogs. I’m pretty curious about cats and sometimes I get a little too intense in my attempts to play with them, so it might be best if I’m in a house that doesn’t have any.

I’m a cuddly girl too, but I don’t lick a bunch like some dogs do, so if that’s not your thing, I’m definitely your girl. But I do love to snuggle up to my people and am really affectionate. And guess what else? I’m not just athletic and affectionate, I’m smart too. I know a bunch of tricks and am learning more all the time.

I do have some itchy skin right now and my nice vet told me to eat a special kind of prescription food. I may also need to be on allergy medication. My friends at PawsCo can talk to you more about my medical needs.

So what do you say? Are you up for a girl who’s the whole package? Shoot my friends at PawsCo an email at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org and visit this information page pawsco.org/adoptions.

Meet Eve!

Meet Eve!

Eve
Shepherd/Lab Mix
Female
58 lbs
8 years old

Hey guys, I’m Eve and I’m here to find a great new beginning with a new forever family!

I am the happiest girl and all I want to do is make a forever family happy as well! I am always wagging my tail and looking for affection from my foster family and love to be pet and cuddled. I am active and fun (I would be a great hiking buddy!) but I also can just hang out around the house and be your loyal companion.

I also already know some basic commands, I’m completely potty trained, and am great with free roam of the house when my foster family is away. I can be a little bit picky about the other dogs in the house so I’d prefer to be your one and only! I also would do best in a home without really young kiddos but would do just fine with kids 10+.

So if you think you’re ready to help this girl find her new forever, email my friends at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org and visit this information page pawsco.org/adoptions.

Meet Hooky!

Meet Hooky!

Hooky

American Pit Bull Terrier Mix

Male

7 months old
42 lbs. (and growing!)

Hi hi hi! My name is Hooky and I’m so excited to meet you! Despite the name I promise not to slack off when it comes to snuggles and play time!

So here’s the thing; I’m an adorably goofy puppy but I’ve had a bit of a tough start to life. I can be a little shy and fearful at first but once I get to know you I’m a typical bouncy puppy that’s all about toys and treats! For now, I’m just taking everything really slowly and making sure I feel totally comfortable before opening up. I get especially anxious if I have to go to the vet or any other loud/busy building. It reminds me a lot of the shelter and I definitely do NOT want to go back there!

My foster family has been great and I’ve been learning all kinds of new things. For example, I know tricks like “sit” and “down” and even run to my kennel on command! I love my kennel because it’s my safe place so I don’t mind spending time in there if you’re not home. The quickest way to my heart is through T-R-E-A-T-S! I’m a very smart pup and catch on extra quickly if there’s a little incentive. I also love going for walks and chewing on squeaky toys. It’s the simple things in life!

My foster family has also introduced me to kitties and a few other canine siblings. I definitely enjoy another dog friend but I’d probably be ok as an only pup as well and I’m a little too rough with cats (I guess they’re not quite the same size as me). Do you know any kids? I happen to LOVE kids and tend to warm up to them the fastest. I guess I can just tell they are small and learning like me! Since I’m still young, it might be good for me to go to a home where there are social dogs around so that I can learn from them. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, after all!

I’m ready to start blossoming into a spunky, goofy, playful guy with my forever family so if you think you’re ready to commit to lots of snuggle time and yummy training sessions just reach out to my friends at PawsCo at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org and visit this information page: pawsco.org/adoptions and let’s do it!
