Meet Emmylou!

Meet Emmylou!

Emmylou
Domestic Short Hair Tabby
Female
2 years old
7 pounds

Well hey there! I’m Emmylou and I’m pleased as punch to make your acquaintance.

I’m a bit of a Southern belle. I pride myself on being sweet as spun sugar. Yes indeed! I like to take life at a leisurely pace and enjoy the newfound comforts of living indoors.

See, I was found malnourished and skinny while caring for eight kittens! I’m a nurturing soul and have been keepin’ an eye on them in the foster home and we’ve been learning just how plum wonderful it is to feel safe. Now my kittens are old enough to move on and find homes of their own, so I guess I need to start looking for my forever family. Good thing I warm up quickly to new friends and love to rub up on people and even mellow dogs. There’s no room for fussin’ and fightin’ in my honest opinion. I’d much rather we all just get along.

Now, I make cute chirping noises that bring a smile to the face of anyone who hears my adorable call. I’m trustworthy and can roam a home while the people are out and not get into any trouble. Truth be told, I’m just looking for a peaceful place to call my own.

Can you please offer me the hospitality I’d so happily return with love and affection? All you have to do is send an email to my friends at PawsCo or fill out an adoption application. Thank you kindly!

Meet Felix!

Meet Felix!

Felix
Domestic Short Hair
Male
7 months old
7 lbs. (and growing!)

Felix the Cat! The wonderful, wonderful cat! Whenever he gets in a fix, he reaches into his bag of tricks!

Yes, my namesake is a little bit of a troublemaker, but not this guy! I definitely don’t get myself into bad situations often. I mean, I’m super well-behaved…mostly. I am still a kitten, of course, so you have to keep that in mind. I might get into a “fix” every once in a while, but mostly it’s just sweetness and joy with me.

I love to give kisses and snuggle up with my humans when I get the chance. Snuggling is one of my favorite things! I also love playing with feather toys, jingle balls, and even a rubber duckie every now and then. I’m still adjusting to my foster home and I’m not totally comfortable around other feline friends so I might do best as an only cat. Kiddos? They should probably be a wee bit older just so they know that I’m a kitty and not a toy.

So, if you want to bring home a real, live Felix the Cat, then make sure to send an email to adopt@pawscoadoptions.org and fill out an adoption application at https://pawsco.org/adopt/catadoptionapplication/. Make sure you have some rubber duckies ready!

Meet General Zod!

Meet General Zod!

General Zod
Domestic Long Hair
Male
3 years old
11 lbs.

Hello, General Zod here.

That sounds very official, doesn’t it? Well, I’m not nearly as serious as my name might indicate; in fact, I’m quite the affectionate little fella once I warm up to my human companions.

Sometimes it’s just about the facade and a name like General Zod allows me to hide behind a perceived supervillain persona and protect my heart from being broken. But, if I’m being honest, I’m really just dying to have my own forever family where my humans will love me unconditionally, play with me (lots of toys please) and take the time to let me get used to a new home and a new family. Okay, okay, just call me General Cuddle Buns, that’s what I really want!

One thing to mention is that I do have FIV, an immunodeficiency virus. I will very likely live a long and happy life but I might have a weaker immune system as I age. Therefore, I need to be an indoor cat only and be on a nutritious diet to help me stay healthy. Also, for your information, FIV is not transferable to humans or dogs. Our adoption team is happy to fill you in on more details or answer any questions you may have!

Now, what is it that you’re looking for? A four-legged feline friend perhaps? Someone to be the General of your heart? Well, lucky you, I’m all of those things and so much more! If you’d like to set up a time to meet me, email my friends at PawsCo and fill out an adoption application on the PawsCo website.  I’m excited to meet you!

Meet Kira!

Meet Kira!

Kira
Domestic Shorthair
Female
1 years old
8 lbs.

Trill! Chirp! Purr! I’m Kira and I’m so thrilled to meet you!

I’m a social gal and I just love snuggles and ear scratches. In fact, I’m overjoyed about my new career as a baker. Yep, I love to make biscuits with my paws–I could knead all day! They say the best bakers bake from the heart, and that’s exactly what I do. Pet my head, and I’ll make biscuits all day long. You could say my motto is: “Will work for love!”

It’s pretty adorable how much I love affection. I’ll stand on two legs against a hand or leg if it means leaning in for a scratch or pet! I’m a real sweetie. I also get along really well with other cat friends (and I’d likely do just fine with dog friends as well as long as they are gentle!) I don’t have any bad habits–I’m litter box trained and won’t wake you up. I’m not hyper–I’m pretty content to spend lots of time getting beauty sleep. Though when a catnip mouse comes out, I’ll make you laugh and smile while I roll around with that fun toy!

With a quiet house where I can receive and give love, I’ll rise to the occasion like the biscuits I love to make. They say cats have nine lives, and I’m counting on my second life being the best one yet!

If you’re looking for a friendly feline to join your family, please email adopt@pawscoadoptions.org or fill out an adoption application at https://pawsco.org/adopt/adoption-application/. That would be the cat’s meow!

Meet Bubbie!

Meet Bubbie!

Bubbie
Domestic Short Hair
Male
5 years old
9 lbs.

Have you guys heard of this new trend called Cat Memes? Apparently, they’re all the rage on the Interwebs. After seeing a few, I decided I was the inspiration for cat memes! You see, I love being pet, until I don’t like being pet anymore! Apparently, this kind of behavior is super funny to you humans. Well, that’s just me, Bubbie, being Bubbie!

When I was younger and looking for a family, I tried out a store cage environment but really didn’t like it. It was quite lonely as I waited for a forever family that never came. After that, I ended up with the nice folks at PawsCo and now I am in a loving foster home and demanding shredded cheese on the regular.

My humans say I am very friendly, cheese-motivated, string-motivated, and after all that motivation, I am sleep-motivated. I am free to roam the house, and to be honest, with all that free time, I just can’t help but nap! I should also note that I am superbly nonchalant with other cats in the house and we get along just fine. (I secretly like the companionship.)

I am definitely on the adoption market and would be so happy to meet you and find out if you think I would be the right gentleman for your home. I promise to keep you company in the kitchen, nap by your side to keep you warm, rub up against your legs, and provide you with an abundance of inspiration for your venture into cat memes!

Thanks for considering me as an addition to your family. You can apply to adopt me or email my friends at PawsCo to learn more!

Meet Matilda!

Meet Matilda!

Matilda
Domestic Short Hair
Female
9 months
5 lbs. (and growing!)

Abracatabra!

Matilda’s the name and I have magical, mystical kitten powers. I may be shy because of my rough start in life, but like a phoenix rising from the ashes, I’ve been able to come out from under my cape to spread love, cuddles, and purrs wherever I go.

Since magic is exhausting work, I can often be found napping. And if you can’t find me at all, it’s not because I am being timid and decided to hide. No. No. It’s that I am practicing my disappearing tricks. Poof! Let’s just say, the disappearing tricks are my favorite ones to practice.

My magic has allowed me to be a young, independent artist, but truth be told, I wouldn’t mind going to a forever home that has other budding magicians too. I could see myself enjoying dog, cat, and little human magicians alike.

If you need some enchantment in your life, look no further!  You can contact my friends at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org and fill out an adoption application at https://pawsco.org/adopt/catadoptionapplication/ to learn more!

Meet Izzy & Jazzy!

Meet Izzy & Jazzy!

Izzy & Jazzy
Tibetan Spaniel mixes
Female
5 years
15 lbs.

Do you believe in second chances? Well, so do we! In fact, we believe in third chances too. The reason being that PawsCo gave us a second chance at life nearly three years ago with the most loving, kind, treat-wielding family. Very sadly, our phenomenal mother passed away, and so PawsCo came to our rescue once again to ensure that we find yet another incredible home in which to share our love and adorable sisterly antics.

Because we know firsthand that you make the most of EVERY opportunity this life gives you, you can rest assured that we know just how to live well. As sisters, we do everything together. We’re happy to snuggle up in the same lap, lounge on the same bed (right next to our people, of course), playfully tug on the same toy, and enjoy every meal together. Life is better when it’s shared with someone that you love. While we have each other, we also know that we have so much silly sweetness to bring into a wonderful home.

Because we are such a bonded pair, we are looking for a home where we can be adopted together. We promise that we will bring so much love and happiness to your home and you will be so happy you chose to adopt two pups together! We do just fine with another dog in the home and we’re even comfortable around cat friends too! We are completely potty trained, love going on walks around the neighborhood, and are just as sweet as can be. We also would do just fine with older kids in the house (toddlers might be overwhelming to us since we can be a tad shy with new people.)

So what do you say—round three with a couple of Tibetan Spaniels? We know that you won’t regret taking a chance on us! We can’t wait to fill your home with so much happiness and love If you are interested in more information, send an email to adopt@pawscoadoptions.org and fill out an adoption application at https://pawsco.org/adopt/adoption-application/.

Meet Hiro!

Meet Hiro!

Hiro
Lab/Greyhound Mix
Male
2 years old
64 lbs.

Yippee! A new friend! I’m Hiro, and I absolutely LOVE meeting new people!

Like my celebrity role model Hugh Jackman, I’m a bit of a people pleaser. I’m super friendly and love everyone! At the dog park, I love greeting people and playing with the other dogs. I zoom around showcasing my graceful running style – I’d run all day if you let me! I’ll even sing and dance if the mood strikes!

Like Hugh said, “If you love something, you don’t just read about it; you hug it, you mess with it, you play with it.” I’m smart and inquisitive, so I want to enjoy the heck out of life! It’s so fun to chase birds and squirrels, or goof around with toys. Toys! What’s not to love about toys? And snacks! What’s not to love about snacks? There are so many things that make me burst with joy!

So yep, I have too much energy to be a couch dog. I’d love to find someone who wants to live life to the fullest with me! We could go hiking, biking, train for marathons–I’ll be the best adventure buddy you could hope for! We could even compete in canine agility events if that sounds fun. Think of all the new friends we’ll make together. After a day well spent, I’ll be your snuggle pal who might just try to sit in your lap. Cuddling makes me super happy, too!

Can you please email adopt@pawscoadoptions.org or fill out an adoption application at https://pawsco.org/adopt/adoption-application/? I will jump for joy!
