Hey there, I’m Cupcake Raindrop, and I’m the most chill and quiet out of my three siblings, but don’t let that fool you—I’ve got plenty of puppy energy! My motto is “play hard, nap harder,” and I take my naps very seriously! I’m not just friendly; I’m a social butterfly who loves meeting new people and making new friends. I’m a sweet and affectionate pup who enjoys lounging around, but I also thrive on human company. I adore other dogs, I’ll do great with humans of all ages (but please note, puppies can be mouthy and have sharp teeth so homes with young children should be prepared for managing those interactions), and I have also done great with friendly cats as well!
Since I’m just a puppy, I am learning all about potty training, basic commands, house manners and what is appropriate to chew on (toys! I love toys!). I am eager to learn and am motivated by love, so with positive reinforcement, I will continue building my good habits and feel secure in my forever home.
PawsCo loves to remind adopters that puppies are so adorable but we are also a lot of work! We are similar to having a human toddler and we need a ton of patience, positive reinforcement training, and lots of love. A puppy my age is still working on potty training, puppy “mouthing” during play, learning what to chew and what not to chew, and other typical puppy behaviors. An adopter should be fully prepared to register for puppy socialization classes at a local training facility (positive reinforcement training only!) and/or commit to learning positive training techniques to help support me as I grow up.
