Good with dogs? So far she has done fine with other dogs she’s met and may enjoy a friendly dog sibling.
Good with cats? Yes, she is playful with cats and will give them a puppy bow when she wants to play. She may chase a kitty who runs but is learning boundaries, and may enjoy a friendly cat sibling.
Good with kids? Yes, she is awesome with kids! She loves the 7 year old in her foster home and is always eager to play with him.
Energy level: Medium, plus she loves hiking! Abbey loves playing with balls in the yard and is learning to play fetch. She loves chew toys, stuffy toys and balls. She runs around in the yard playing with balls that are much larger than her, which is adorably hilarious. She did well on a hike at significant elevation and may be a fun adventure dog!
Animal Characteristics: Abbey is a sweet, loving, playful pup who warms up quickly and loves to be near her people and animal friends. She is a happy girl with lots of personality and she loves to wag her tail! She is a total cuddle bug and wants to be with you as often as possible! She enjoys meeting new people and new animals, and will make a great family dog. She is smart, a quick learner, and very food motivated with her training. She’s learning leash walking, crate training, and working on her potty training. Like all young pups, she will benefit from continued socialization and training so that she can have the very best manners!
