Good with dogs? She has lived with an older beagle and played well with many other energetic dogs off-leash. On-leash, she can be reactive with barking and pulling.
Good with cats? No, she has a strong prey drive and chases cats. She needs a home without cats, and may also chase other small animals.
Good with kids? Yes, she is good with kids of all ages and was very gentle with a baby.
Energy level: Medium. She can be high energy, enjoys walks and running around in a large yard, but also likes to nap and chill on the couch. She loves sitting outside in the sun, chewing bones, doggie puzzles and playing rope toy tug of war.
Animal Characteristics: Illy is energetic and sweet. She loves people, playing with people and toys and dogs. She is silly, loves to flip upside down for tummy rubs, and will cuddle on the couch. She is so excited to meet new people that she will jump with joy. Illy can get highly stimulated but is very responsive to training and redirection, and needs an adopter who will continue reinforcing her calm behaviors with focus and patience.
