Good with cats? Delta is gentle and has done well with previous cats and kittens.

Energy level: Low, she likes a quiet place to nap and watch out the window. She is not currently interested in toys. 

Medical needs: Delta is FIV+. FIV is a feline-only retrovirus that affects a cat’s immune system. An adopter should be aware that FIV can make a cat more vulnerable to other medical issues because their immune system is not as strong as an FIV negative cat. FIV is not transferable to humans or dogs and can only be transferred to other cats through a deep cat bite. She also has a Grade III heart murmur, which is currently asymptomatic.

Animal Characteristics: Delta is a precious, beautiful little lady who is sweet, mellow, quiet and soft. She survived a harsh life outside before being rescued and adores the cozy, safe indoor life! She loves being petted, will flop for belly rubs, and warms up to new people who want to give her gentle affection and love. She may be a little hard of hearing and prefers a quiet, peaceful home. Delta has some medical needs that are typical of older kitties and will appreciate a caring adopter who will take the very best care of her health and shower her with all the attention and cuddles she deserves!
