PawsCo’s Mission: To give vulnerable animals an opportunity to thrive by engaging the passion of our Colorado Community.
PawsCo is a 501(c)3 animal welfare organization based in Denver, Colorado.
PawsCo is dedicated to reducing pet homelessness by partnering with animal shelters and other rescues in order to help the most in-need animals — those animals not thriving in a shelter setting.
PawsCo is committed to education and community outreach. PawsCo works on collaborative spay/neuter efforts like TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and manages SNR (Spay-Neuter-Return) with several local shelters, which allows community cats to live out their lives, but without the ability to procreate.
We are a volunteer-run organization and we take pride in running like a business, with the heart of a nonprofit. The PawsCo team is an incredible group of energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate volunteers who successfully and directly impact the community on a daily basis. We have a place for you – join us!
PawsCo focuses on helping pets who have the most need within the state of Colorado. PawsCo partners with shelters to assist animals who are not thriving in a shelter setting and do not have adoption options within the shelter. PawsCo is an all-breed rescue where pets live in foster homes prior to adoption, and receive love, training, and medical care.

PawsCo is powered by a group of 300 highly-engaged volunteers — managed by a working leadership team of 40 volunteers, and an 8-person Board of Directors — all of whom leverage their professional experience and skill sets to make a difference for animals in need.
