Wondering what opportunities there are for those under 18 years of age?

Please contact Linda Chase (linda@pawscoadoptions.org) to talk about any of these ideas, or others you may have.

  • Garage Sales
      • Get rid of your unused stuff and raise money for a cause. Get others involved! Ask friends, neighbors, families, or classmates to bring over items to sell).
  • Bake Sales
      • Baked goods can be for people, dogs, or both.
  • Auctions
      • Ask local and/or favorite businesses to donate items, coupons, food, or services and then hold an auction. Don’t think you can hold the auction yourself? No worries! You can simply get businesses to donate those items or services for PawsCo’s annual “Wags and Whiskers” fundraising gala.
  • Pet Portrait Art Project
    • This can be done by a classroom or other art teacher led group. We will connect you with and provide photos of current foster animals and alums for students to paint. Then, your group will hold an auction (this can be done in person or virtually). Reach out for more information!
  • Pet Food Drive
      • Ask your class, school, parents’ workplace, neighborhood or other community group to hold a pet food drive. Donated food can be dropped off at PawsCo Headquarters to be distributed to the community to help people in need keep their pets!
  • Pet Treat Drive
      • Collect cat and dog treats from your community for PawsCo foster animals.
  • Toy Drive
      • Collect cat and dog toys from your community for PawsCo foster animals.
  • Blanket and Pet Bed Drive
    • Collect cat and dog blankets or beds for PawsCo foster animals.
  • Baked Treats
  • Cat Toys
  • Dog Toys
  • Dog Beds
      • Our fosters take in the dogs we rescue and PawsCo provides all the supplies needed. One thing all dogs need is a bed of their own! Check out this video on how to build one.

  • Dog House
      • Our fosters take in cats and dogs and provide them with a loving home environment until they are adopted. They live indoors, of course, but if there is a yard available it’s nice to have a little shelter to hang out in while outside.
