Name: Niles
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Sex: Neutered Male
Age: 1 year
Weight: 10 lbsĀ
Sweet, Sensitive, Gentle Kitty
Good with dogs? He lived with two dogs in a prior foster home, and with proper introductions, may be fine with chill, quiet, easy going dogs that respect boundaries.
Good with cats? Yes, he does well with other cats, does not seem to mind them or bother them.
Good with kids? Yes, he is good with peaceful, quiet, calm kids 10+ who respect his space.
Energy level: Medium. He likes to nap, but is getting more playful every day! He loves wand toys with feathers, little balls, scratching posts, towers, windows with a nice view and laying near his human.
Medical needs: His left eye is a bit watery and has inflammation that does not appear to be due to physical injury. It should be monitored in case he has a recurrent feline virus.
Animal Characteristics: Niles is very sweet, sensitive, shy, curious, gentle, playful and affectionate. His cute purrsonality comes out to shine as he becomes more comfortable with his surroundings. He is nervous about new people at first and takes a few days to warm up, but seems to be on his way to cuddling as a lap cat. He will go find a cozy spot to relax or hide in if he feels overwhelmed. Niles will relax and blossom in a patient, peaceful home.
