Hello friend, I’m Lenox! I’m cuddly and sweet with a good balance of energy. I love to frolic and play, then relax while being petted and snuggled. I am looking for a happy, loving forever home of my very own!
I am such an affectionate pup! I will vocally ask for pets and cuddles, then sit in your lap while giving you kisses. I love to sleep with humans and I get along great with kids of all ages, from babies to teens! When I meet a new person, I am timid at first, then warm up. I am playful and positive with other dogs I meet, whether on a walk or at a dog park. I have not met a cat yet, so I can’t say how I’d do with a feline friend. I love to be active and go on runs, so having a yard where I can let out my bursts of energy makes me super happy!
Since I’m still basically a big puppy, I am learning good manners including what is appropriate to chew and not chew! Having my loving humans nearby makes me feel secure and I get a little sad if I am all by myself for longer than about an hour. It is important to know that I am very hesitant of certain humans, men in particular, but I take anxiety medication daily to ease my stress. I am not too fond of being in a crate just yet. Since I am young and motivated by treats, with continued love and positive reinforcement training, I will keep on learning good habits. I am fully potty trained and, I know how to give a “high five!” which is absolutely adorable!
