Good with dogs? Yes, Chain Chomp lived with dogs in his prior home and rubs affectionately against the large dog in his foster home. He will set boundaries if needed.
Good with cats? Yes, he plays and gets along well with the three resident cats in his foster home and is very respectful of them.
Good with kids? He needs a home with people who will learn his cues and treat him gently, so he may do best in an adult household or with mature, observant, kids 12+.
Energy level: Low to Medium. He is a lazy boy who relaxes, snoozes, sits in laps and checks in for affection many times throughout the day. He enjoys wand toys, too!
Animal Characteristics: Chain Chomp is a big love bug who will actively seek out affection and likes being pet on his terms. He is confident and friendly, and will do well in a mellow household with cat savvy humans who are willing to learn his cues and make him feel safe. He can feel overwhelmed and express himself strongly if he is not treated gently or if he is afraid of being grabbed. He is ready to settle into a cozy forever home.
