Good with dogs? She would be happy as an only dog. She is dog friendly but has shown resource guarding.
Good with cats? Not Tested (but would prefer to be an only animal)

Energy level: Medium. She is happy to relax on the sofa or bed alongside her foster, plays occasionally with the other dog in her foster home, and enjoys the game of fetch!
Behavioral needs: Angel mainly lived outdoors until she was recently brought into foster care. She is learning how to be an indoor dog, feel safe and share her resources. She requires a patient, kind adopter to work on her training and socialization. She has shown resource guarding with other animals so will be better as an only dog.
Animal Characteristics: Angel is an absolute sweetheart with a gentle and sensitive nature. She is looking for an adopter who is home often to help her build confidence and trust through patience, basic training, socialization and thoughtful introductions to new experiences. Angel is afraid of loud noises, barking dogs and new people. Once she is properly introduced to a new human, she enjoys pets and affection. She is observant and likely to learn quickly. Angel has the potential to blossom into a most loving, loyal, “Velcro” dog companion.
