Good with cats? Yes, Fudge absolutely adores other cats and listens to their boundaries beautifully. He is more relaxed and happy around other cats and models his behavior after theirs. He definitely needs to live with a confident cat friend.
Good with kids? He would do best in a home with people that can read his cues.
Energy level: High! Fudge LOVES all kinds of play and toys he can touch. He needs abundant mental and physical stimulation. He also loves to watch birds and nature out his window, then nap.
Behavioral needs: Fudge has an intense reaction to new stimuli but with controlled interactions and time to warm up, he can accept new human and animal friends and adjust to the household. He takes a daily calming medication that is easily dosed in his food that helps him relax. He needs a patient adopter who understands his boundaries and can help build his confidence.
Animal Characteristics: Fudge is wild and crazy like the teenage dragon Toothless in “How to Train Your Dragon” and we love him for it! Fudge is a gorgeous young house panther who is learning that humans are safe and he can calm down and enjoy life. He’s young and adorable with a big heart, and he loves affection on his terms. He will approach people for attention and accept certain kinds of petting when he’s ready. He has a lifetime of happiness ahead of him alongside a patient, loving adopter and another cat friend or more.
