Meet Eloise!

Meet Eloise!

Brown Tabby

10 years old

9 lbs.

I was meowing with my foster mom about what I should be sure to tell you in this brief autobiography of mine, and she said I needed to be sure to let you know that I, Eloise, am awesome.

“Awesome?” I asked. “Really?” She said, “Yup.” She says that my funny way of begging for cheese, my big personality, my mellow nature, and my intense desire for human companionship combined with my unsurpassed ability to cuddle makes me awesome. Wow! That’s so nice!

She also says I should be sure to let you know that I am wiser than other cats, which is her nice way of saying that I’m older than most cats. I think she means that, as an older and wiser feline, I’d enjoy a more laid-back home where I can just enjoy my favorite humans and hang out in my favorite sunny spot in the home! I also live really well with other cat friends and even do well with calm dogs (energetic dogs make me feel nervous so I’m best with dogs that will co-exist with me rather than try to get me to play!) I take a little bit of time to get to know people but once you pass the Eloise Test, you are in! It has also been said that I’ve grown tired of doing my hair myself anymore, but I mean who doesn’t love a spa day?! Yay! Take me to the groomer instead!

I also need to share with you that I was recently diagnosed with cancer. The good news is that it seems to be a slow moving cancer but it is not curable. I’m not in pain and I still have so much love and affection to give to a forever family! I do need to be on two different medications (totaling $30/month) and visit the vet every 6 months for a routine check up and bloodwork. My PawsCo friends can get you up to speed on all that. They can also get us together for a meet and greet at your earliest convenience! Just drop a quick email to them at and fill out this adoption application: I can’t wait to meet you!
