Meet Poe!

Meet Poe!

Poe
Domestic Short Hair
Male
1 year old
11 lbs.

Quoth the Raven, “Nevermore.”

Eek! Enough with the scary stories; my name may be Poe but I’d much prefer a happy ending. All that drama and suspense isn’t my style. I’m a laid back guy that’s looking for love!

I used to have a family but they moved and left me behind. Since then, I’ve been trying to forget all that and focus on my future. I absolutely love people and I’m not shy about showing you. My foster mom says I’m as sweet as I am handsome (VERY!). I’ve also got pretty typical young cat energy. I like to play and I especially love going after hair ties, but I’m also a-okay with a nap in the sun.

I love other kitties, dogs, and I even like kids! What can I say; I’m just not a picky guy. If you’re looking for a chill addition to your family (any shape and size will do) then pick me! I promise to always be there for cuddle time.

Meet Maisie!

Meet Maisie!

Maisie
Domestic Short Hair
Female
1 year old
8 lbs.

Hello there! I’m Maisie and I’m so pleased to meet you! I’m a sweet, loving girl who is so excited to be here at PawsCo!

They’re helping me find my forever family, which makes me so happy! I am a social, lovable cat who likes people, dogs and other cats, but I am also independent enough to hang out on my own. I’m not much past my kitten phase, but I’m a chill girl who’s just as content hanging out on a windowsill checking out the scenery as I am giving my people kisses.

I warmed up to my foster family quickly and just know that I’ll love my new forever family just as much. I am a sweet, sociable girl who is going to make some family very happy. Are you that family? Meet Watson!

Meet Watson!

Watson
Shepherd Mix
Male
5 years old
58 lbs.

Well hello there, my name is Watson; pleased to make your acquaintance. I’m a gentle, sweet guy who’s just looking for a spot to call my own after a bit of a rough start to life.

I’m so happy at PawsCo being snuggled and doted on and now I’m just looking for that special someone to call my own. I absolutely love being around my person. When someone starts to pet me I just kind of lean into them to make sure they get the best spots and sometimes I get so comfy I’ll fall asleep; I’m pretty easy to please!

I love people and would be a wonderful addition to an easy going home! I do really well with other dog friends and cat friends too! I may spend most of my time lounging around but I don’t mind some puppy playtime once I get to know the other dogs. At the end of the day I’m all about being loved! However, due to some resource guarding issues I’ve shown in my foster home, I’d do best in a home without little humans.

In addition to being an all around mellow fellow, I am also crate trained, walk well on my leash, and enjoy going for a few short walks a day. I’m not as young as I used to be so I don’t need hours of activity but I sure don’t like to be left behind if the other pups are getting to go somewhere fun!

I do have some health issues and I’m looking for a family who is comfortable with my medical needs. I have some allergy issues, arthritis in my elbow, and Atypical Cushings (which is a adrenal gland condition.) I’m on medication for all the above and I am already feeling so much better! As long as I continue my medications, I will have a long and wonderful quality of life but it is something I will need medication for long-term. I also have a mild heart condition that can be managed with medication as well. The total cost of my medication is about $150/month. My health is still a work in progress but the kind folks at PawsCo have invested so much love and care in making sure I’m as healthy as can be! And they are more than happy to give you all the details about my health.

If you’re looking for a chill companion to spend your days with, and maybe share your snacks with, then let’s set up a time to get to know one another. Go ahead and reach out to my friends at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org or check out more about the adoption process here: pawsco.org/adoptions.

Meet Sarge!

Meet Sarge!

Sarge
Rottweiler Mix
Male
9 months old
45 lbs. (and growing!)

Whew am I glad to be talking to you! It’s been a long road for me to get to the point where I could even start looking for a forever family, and I am SO ready.

See, when I was first rescued, I had an injury that required surgery, so the doctors thought it would be best to wait until I was a little bit older and a little more recovered before going out looking for a new home. But now, I’m all patched up and ready to love the right people!

I’m an independent pup who is both wiggly and cuddly, and I’m really well-behaved while roaming the house when my foster family is gone. No messes or chewing from me! I love playing with stuffed toys and meeting new people, but should probably be in a house without younger kids. I haven’t met any cats yet, and need nice, slow introductions to other dogs, but once I get to know them, they’re just fine by me. I’m still a pup, so would love for my new family to have the time and patience to help guide me as I grow!

Even though I had a bit of a rough start, I’m a regular, playful, happy young guy who is so ready to love a great family. Is that family you? Email my friends at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org and check out this information page: pawsco.org/adoptions.

Meet Domino!

Meet Domino!

Domino
Domestic Short Hair
Male
2 years old
11 lbs.

Gosh am I glad to be in from the cold! It sure is a chilly winter we’re having, but I stay nice and warm now that I’m in foster care. See I was found outside in the cold and wind, just looking for a little bit of shelter. Now I’ll never have to worry about that again.

My name is Domino, and I’m a super friendly, confident cat who is really good at doing his own thing. I am a big talker and just love to be petted though, so you’ll definitely know I’m there! I love to cuddle too, and get along fine with other cats. I haven’t come across any dogs, so I’m not sure how I feel about them, but I don’t think I’d have a problem. I’ve met one little kid in my time in foster care and got along just fine with her.

All in all, I am a handsome, sweet boy who will make for a super easy cat for a loving home. Wanna be the one who keeps me warm? Email my friends at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org and check out this information page: pawsco.org/adoptions.

Meet George!

Meet George!

George
Mastiff Mix
Male
2 years old
95 lbs.

Hey guys! How are ya today? The name’s George and I’m super glad to be here at PawsCo and super duper excited to find my forever family!

I’m a gentle giant who wants nothing more than to be loved by my people. Sometimes I’ll try to be a lap dog, and I love to go on walks and will play fetch all day long if you’ll let me. I also give great hugs and love to nuzzle people’s ears. Toys are pretty much my favorite, especially the kind that squeak!

I am curious about new people, but sometimes can be a little bit shy about meeting them. But once I warm up, I’m as friendly as can be. I haven’t been around too many kids, but I bet I’d like them too. I like other dogs, especially the ones that are a little bit bigger like me. And cats are good too, although since I’m so big and curious, I might come on a little bit too strong at first.

What do you say? Does a 100-pound lap dog sound like the right fit for you? Email my friends at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org and check out this information page: pawsco.org/adoptions.

Meet Elsie!

Meet Elsie!

Elsie
Chihuahua
Female
12 years old
6 lbs.

Hello there, dear, how are you today? My name is Elsie and I’m so glad to meet you. I’m looking for a nice comfortable forever home, you see, and the more people I meet, the quicker I’ll find it.

I’m a quiet, calm older girl who still has a lot of love to give but needs to be in a home that’s more mellow. I recently lost my sight, and I’m still adjusting to that, but I’m adjusting pretty quickly to the change. I’m a bit shy, but I just adore belly rubs. I love them so much that I’ll go ask my people for them and get so excited when they oblige me.

Since I’m older and unable to see, it’s best for me to only be in a home with older kids, but I love people and always wag my tail when my foster family comes home. I get along okay with other dogs and with cats too, as long as everyone’s calm and mellow. But even though I’m older, that doesn’t mean I don’t still have a little fun from time to time. The longer I’m in my foster home, the more my spunky side is coming out and I can be a little silly at times.

So what do you say? Does your home need a sweet, calm new addition who loves a good belly rub? Email my friends at PawsCo at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org and check out this information page: pawsco.org/adoptions.
