Meet Stella!

Stella
Chihuahua Mix
Female
8.5 years old
17 lbs.

Muah Muah! Marvelous to meet you! I love giving kisses so much I figured I’d try out a fancy European greeting with a kiss on both cheeks. My name is Stella and I’m happy to give out as many kisses as you want!

As you can see, I’m not exactly “puppy” aged and I’m pretty confused as to how I ended up without a family after all these years. Maybe I like to cuddle too much? Maybe my ears are way too cute? Maybe it’s because I never bark and get along great with other dogs? I guess it’s a mystery!

Luckily for you, I’m in the market for a new forever home. My foster mom says I’m about as “perfect” as a dog could be! I never pull when we got on walks, I never have any accidents in the house, and I get along great with other pups. I currently have a foster dog brother and he doesn’t like to play much, so we pretty much just snuggle.

I also have a few kitty foster siblings that are ok. They’re pretty boring for the most part but sometimes when they’re active I like to chase after them. My foster mom thinks I shouldn’t do this so we’ve been working on “leave it” and I’m catching on pretty quick! I love to learn.

I also LOVE to cuddle. I think I mentioned it before but I like to give lots of kisses and snuggle with my people. Sure I like going for walks, or playing with a stuffed toy, but snuggle time is where I shine. I’m not shy at showing you how much I enjoy attention and will even nudge your hand for more pets if you stop too soon. I just love people!

If you’re ready to see if we can make a love connection then email my friends at PawsCo at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org and check out this information page: pawsco.org/adoptions so we can meet and start our snuggle sesh ASAP!

Meet Buffy!

Meet Buffy!

Buffy
Domestic Short Hair
Female
4 months old
4 lbs. (and growing!)

Hi everyone! I’m Buffy and I’m so glad to be in from the cold!

See, a nice man found me in the snow and brought me inside to keep me warm and fed. I was so happy and grateful because I’m just too little to be out in the cold alone.

Since I was rescued, I’ve been enjoying the kitten life in my foster home. I play with the other cat and the dogs here, and I even like to give my new friends “boops” on the head. Always gently, of course! I am a big fan of cuddling, and belly scratches are the best!

Meet Patches!

Meet Patches!

Patches
Australian Shepherd
Male
8 years old
75 lbs.

Do you know any of those kinds of people who are just happy all the time? Maybe you’re one of those people yourself. Well I’m definitely one of those dogs.

I’m Patches, and my consistent happiness comes from the fact that there’s pretty much nothing I don’t love. People, other dogs, kids, you name it. I love them all. I’m super affectionate too, and love getting attention from my people, but I also know how to be self-sufficient.

Another thing I love is going for walks, which is for the best, because, well I have a little bit of weight to lose. My new forever family will need to work with me on getting my weight down, but since I like getting outside for walks so much, it shouldn’t be too hard. One other thing I do that is good for my figure is lots of wiggling. I get so excited that I just can’t help but wiggle my back end, especially when the leash comes out for a walk.

My friends at PawsCo would be happy to set up a time for us to get to know each other and see if I love you as much as I love everything else (I bet I will). Email them at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org and check out this information page: pawsco.org/adoptions.

Meet Tooie!

Meet Tooie!

Tooie
Basset Hound Mix
Female
3 years old
48 lbs.

Well hello there, pleased to meet you. I’m Tooie. Are you interested in a relaxing day on the couch?

See, chilling out on a lazy day is one of my favorite things to do, especially if there’s someone around to love on me a little. Or a lot. I’m a super sweet girl who is super mellow in the house but also knows how to play around outside. I really like playing with other dogs, and follow my foster siblings around just in case they’re ready to play. Walks are fun too, especially if I can do some relaxing at afterward.

I can be a little bit shy at first, and get a little nervous if I hear a loud noise or if a person comes on too strong. But if I’m introduced right to nice people, I warm up to everyone and am overall just a great dog.

Squirt
Domestic Short Hair
Female

Hi, my name is Squirt and it sure would make my holidays happy to get a forever family!

I’m a confident, friendly, happy kitten who loves to run any play with my sister or with people, or even with the dog here in my foster home. I am a curious girl who wants to learn all about the world. One thing that helps with that is nature shows on TV. When our foster mom puts one on, my sister and I will sit and watch. It’s fascinating!

Hi, my name is Coda and it sure would make my holidays happy to get a forever family!

I am having a lot of fun at my foster home, where I can play with my sister all day and learn all the things I need to know to grow into a big cat. I even get along with the dog here! I’m snuggly and friendly with any human I meet, and am just about the most easy-going kitten you’ll meet. One thing I really like is nature shows on TV. When our foster mom puts one on, my sister and I will sit and watch. There’s just a lot to learn about the world!

Meet Thane!

Meet Thane!

Thane
Domestic Short Hair
Male
6 months
6 lbs. (and growing!)

My name is Thane and I can’t wait to find my purrfect forever family!

I am just as cute as can be and I have the sweetest purr you’ve ever heard. I haven’t experienced very much love before finding my way to my loving foster home with PawsCo so I’ve learned a lot about human love and that it is the VERY BEST! I am really comfortable and loving with my foster family but I’m still a bit nervous meeting new people. I’d do best in a home with someone who understands that about me and can give me that adjustment time to warm up to my new family! I can promise you that I am completely worth it.

I LOVE other cats and I’m even great at being friends with dogs too! I think I’d do best in a home with another furry friend as it will help me continue to build my confidence.

Thanks for stopping by my page and I’m looking forward to meeting you! To learn more about me, please email my friends at PawsCo at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org or visit this information page: pawsco.org/adoptions.

Meet Eve!

Meet Eve!

Eve
Shepherd/Lab Mix
Female
58 lbs
8 years old

Hey guys, I’m Eve and I’m here to find a great new beginning with a new forever family!

I am the happiest girl and all I want to do is make a forever family happy as well! I am always wagging my tail and looking for affection from my foster family and love to be pet and cuddled. I am active and fun (I would be a great hiking buddy!) but I also can just hang out around the house and be your loyal companion.

I also already know some basic commands, I’m completely potty trained, and am great with free roam of the house when my foster family is away. I can be a little bit picky about the other dogs in the house so I’d prefer to be your one and only! I also would do best in a home without really young kiddos but would do just fine with kids 10+.

So if you think you’re ready to help this girl find her new forever, email my friends at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org and visit this information page pawsco.org/adoptions.

Meet Kali!

Meet Kali!

Kali
Australian Cattle Dog Mix
Female
1 year old
54 lbs

I’ll get straight to the point: I am a good dog. Like, a really, really good dog.

You will love me!

You’ll love how curious I am, how I’ll follow you around to see what you are doing, how I give the best kisses, and how relaxed I am in my kennel.

You’ll also love all the compliments you are sure to get when we are together, like “Wow! What a pretty dog you have!” and “Wow! That is a good dog!”

And, I’ll love you!

I’ll love all the attention you give me, the nice walks we’ll go on together, and the time you’ll give me time to warm up to new people.

I think you’ll also like that I don’t really like cats, because really, who wants them around?! To be honest, I wouldn’t even mind if I was the only dog too! (Actually, I’d really prefer it.)

Let’s make this happen. Right now! You and me! Together! Email my friends at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org and check out this information page: pawsco.org/adoptions.

Meet Buddy!

Meet Buddy!

Buddy
German Shepherd Dog
Male
4 years
70 lbs

Are you a German Shepherd aficionado and experienced dog handler? I might just be the perfect guy for you. Like most GSDs, I am intensely loyal, smart and eager to please you. I bond very deeply and am a one-person dog although I’m friendly with other humans in the house.
I just love hanging out with my #1 person and am such a wonderful companion! I should not be with small humans though, only adults, because I have a nervous nature and can be defensive as a result. I’m also am a bit unsure with strangers and can be snappy at them if I’m not introduced slowly. Therefore, I’d do best in a quieter home without a ton of visitors and a human who can make sure to introduce me properly to new people. Once I build that trust, I am such a love!

I am good with other dogs I meet on walks and hikes; however, I can be protective of my food and toys so I would do best being the only dog in the home. I already know several commands and have good house manners. I’m very affectionate with my person, playful, goofy and all around a great dog for someone who loves my breed and the characteristics that come with it.
And one last thing! I, unfortunately, was found to be heartworm positive and have been treated for it over the past few months. Luckily I’m almost in the clear and the kind folks at PawsCo will cover the cost of my treatment until I am heartworm negative, but I will need an adopter who can ensure that I have limited activity during my treatment and can take me to my vet visits (in the Denver area) until I am cleared! Once I test negative, this won’t be a continued issue (however, it is important for me to be on heartworm preventative long term.)
I promise you that I am such a catch! To find out more details about me please email adopt@pawscoadoptions.org and review adoption information here: pawsco.org/adoptions.

Meet Otto!

Meet Otto!

Otto
Chihuahua
Male
1 year old
6 lbs.

Hi there, my name is Otto and boy am I glad to be here at PawsCo! See, the place I was living before was SUPER crowded and I’m so happy to have some space for myself.

I love to play with toys, especially my little chihuahua-sized Kong. And playing with other dogs is just the best, especially if it means running around outside. I love all the dogs I’ve met, and get so excited sometimes with I play with them that I even prance around a little bit. I haven’t met any cats yet, but I bet I’d get along with them okay. They’re about my size, right?

Because my old house was so full, I didn’t get a lot of attention from humans, so I’m still learning how to be comfortable with them. But, with some love and patience, I know that I can learn to be just the best dog you know. I am slowly learning at my foster home. I follow my foster mom around the house and sometimes I even give her a little kiss on the leg when she’s not looking.

So if you’re a patient person who can teach a playful, fun boy to love, let my friends at PawsCo know my emailing adopt@pawscoadoptions.org and check out this information page pawsco.org/adoptions.

Meet Harper!

Meet Harper!

Harper
Pit Bull Terrier Mix
Female
1 year old
50 lbs.

Hi there everyone, my name is Harper and I can’t wait for my forever home! I’m enjoying my stay with my foster mom, but I just think it will be so wonderful to find someone to love!

I am a pretty shy girl at first, but once I warm up to people, I’m a playful, friendly dog who loves to give kisses and cuddles. Even though I’m not small, I secretly want to be a lap dog. I don’t think that kind of thing should be reserved for little dogs, personally. Bigger dogs like laps, too! Also, I really like to play with toys, and am a tug-of-war champ. Fetch is fun too!

I love to play with other dogs, and sometimes hop around a bit like a bunny, which my foster mom keeps saying is pretty adorable. And even though I’m younger, I don’t chew things up or destroy anything in my foster home. I have quite a bit of energy, so it might be best for me to be in a house without cats or small kids, but with proper introductions, I love other dogs and grown-up people.

Does a 50-pound lap dog sound like your cup of tea? Email my friends at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org and check out this information page: pawsco.org/adoptions.

Meet Otis!

Meet Otis!

Otis
Boxer/Lab Mix
Male
1 year old
53 lbs.

Hey guys! Let’s go do something fun!

My name’s Otis and I am so happy to meet you! I am looking for my forever family and am ready to find someone to love. I’m still a pup, which means I have lots of energy and love to play with toys and run around in my yard playing fetch!

I play well with other dogs and enjoy going to doggy daycare. I can be a bit anxious in new situations and shy when I first meet a new person, but once I’m comfortable I love pets and cuddles. I will need slow introductions while warming up to new people and I think I would like it best in a house that doesn’t have cats or younger kids.

My foster parents say I am smart and a fast learner. I am pretty good on the leash but want to meet people when I see them while on walks, so my parents are teaching me how not to do that, but I promise I’ll do my best to learn. I just want to make my people happy. I already know some tricks like “sit” and “come”! and I’m house trained and crate trained.

So if you’re looking for a super fun and goofy playmate, email my friends at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org and visit this information page: pawsco.org/adoptions.

Meet Jacey

Meet Jacey

Jacey
Domestic Short Hair
Female
6 months old
5 lbs.

Hi guys, how’s it going? My name’s Jacey and I am so very glad to meet you. I’m on the lookout for someone who will take me home and keep me forever. Do you think that might be you?

I have a nice long, luscious coat that’s been protecting me from this cold fall, and if I may say so myself, it also makes me look very dapper. I really love my canine foster brother and hang out with him as much as I can. When he’s busy, I follow my humans around to make sure I’m ready any time they decide it’s time to dispense a nice scratch behind the ears.

I’m still a kitten, but I have a pretty steady amount of energy. I play when I feel like it, and I do think catnip is pretty cool, but I’m pretty great at chilling out, too.

So what do you say? Do you need an adorable, fun addition to your home? Email my friends at PawsCo at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org and check out this information page: pawsco.org/adoptions.

Jim Bob
Domestic Short Hair

My name is Jim Bob and I’m sure pleased to make your acquaintance!

I am just as cute as can be and love to be held and cuddled. In fact, I like affection so much that sometimes I get a little, let’s say assertive, in my attempts to get it. That just means I might headbutt your legs a time or two if I’m looking for a head rub.

I like hanging out and playing with my brother, and I think my canine foster brother is pretty cool too. I’m also a chatty little guy who likes to tell my people all about my day.
