Meet Pumpkin Spice!

Meet Pumpkin Spice!

Pumpkin Spice

Domestic Shorthair

Female

8 years old

6lbs.

Are you tired of the hot days of summer? Are you looking forward to the cool days of autumn? Well then, how about a little Pumpkin Spice to go with those crisp days?!

Just like your favorite autumn sweatshirt I will wrap you up in a soft, warm hug because I am one friendly, affectionate, and sweet kind of cat. Not to mention, I am also outgoing and confident, kind to other cats, and willing to maybe give a dog a chance…maybe.

Most of all though, I love people. I love laps, I love to be petted, and I love to give kisses and purrs. Unlike pumpkin pie, I will stay with you past autumn and through the snowy days of winter, into the best days of spring, and well, you get the picture!

Just fill out this simple cat adoption form: https://pawsco.org/adoptions/catadoptionapplication/ with a quick email to adoptions@pawsco.org , and we’ll be together faster than you can get through the line for a pumpkin spice latte!

See you soon!

Meet Otis!

Meet Otis!

Otis
Chihuahua mix
Male
12 years
10 lbs.

Hello dear, how are you today? They call me Otis. I’m distinguished and wise, and looking for a nice forever family to love me for the rest of my days.

I’m a mellow guy who likes to spend time curled up with my people, so I’m best suited to a laid-back home. I like new people, dogs and cats. I haven’t met any kids with my foster family yet, but I’d probably be okay with them, as long as they’re mellow too.

I’m potty-trained, but I don’t like my crate. I think my age means I’m responsible enough to be left out in the house anyway.

If you think your house is the chill and relaxed place for me, email my friends at PawsCo at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org or fill out an adoption application here https://pawsco.org/adoptions/adoption-application/.

Meet Froome!

Meet Froome!

Froome
Domestic Short Hair
Male
6 months old
5 lbs. (and growing!)

Well hello there! I cannot WAIT to meet you. I’m very curious and excited about exploring the world! Every closet is a cave of wonders; every window is a portal to another world!

Phew…I got a little carried away there. Let me properly introduce myself! I’ve had a bit of an eventful beginning to my life. I came to PawsCo as a stray and it was clear I needed a little TLC. All of the doctors and volunteers saw my maximum cuteness potential and pulled together to give me a second chance – thanks guys!

I’m doing so much better now, but I should mention that I only have three legs. At first I thought that might make life a little challenging but boy was I wrong! You know what rhymes with Froome? Zoom! Definitely don’t think of my three legs as a disability – if anything it just streamlined me!

In addition to exploring the entire world, I also love my other furry family members. I love other kitty siblings as long as they love to play play play and then nap nap nap! I also love my doggy foster brother but I’ll admit it did take me a few days to give him a real chance. I love my furry siblings and I love to play but most of all I love to snuggle. I may have already used up one of my lives so I’ve got some extra love to give in this one. I love to be near my humans and generally try to keep them in my sights by following them from room to room. My absolute favorite is when they decide it’s time to sit down on the couch and let me curl up next to them.

In general, I’m a friendly, affectionate, playful kitten looking for someone that that can appreciate my goofy personality and boundless curiosity.  If you want to be a part of the rest of my life reach out to my friends at PawsCo at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org or fill out an adoption application here https://pawsco.org/adoptions/adoption-application/ and let’s make it happen!

Meet Carter!

Meet Carter!

Carter
White and Brown Chihuahua Mix
Male
7 months old
7.2 lbs.

Carter the Chihuahua mix here reporting from sunny Colorado! Like my role model Kyle Clark of 9News — I am an upbeat fellow that loves to meet new people and share their stories. I’m a rising star hungry for my next assignment — could that be getting to know you?

I have a melancholy start to my own story, but spoiler alert — it all turns out okay! Me and my best friend Chip were abandoned on the border of Kansas and Colorado; but, we were rescued by good samaritans. Talk about a pull at the heartstrings happy ending! Now I’m ready for Part two of my life story where I find a forever home where I can settle in as the number one cuddler in my new family. If you already have kids and/or (small-ish) dogs and cats — that’s fine by me! Are up for double the fun? I would love to find a forever home with Chip.

Like any memorable TV personality, I’m a bright little pup with a big persona and even bigger ears — perfect for the small screen. I’ve learned so much in my short life, including how to sleep happily in my crate, how to sit, and how to come when my name is called! I also earned an A+ in potty-training. I’m sure to get the highest ratings with all these smarts.

Do you think I might be the guy you trust to deliver your nightly news? If you think so, fill out a dog adoption application and email adopt@pawscoadoptions.org to setup a VIP meet and greet with me. Until we meet — this is Carter, signing off! Good night Colorado — I hope to come home with you soon.

Meet Boo!

Meet Boo!

Boo
Cattle Dog/Boxer Mix
Male
2 years old
51 lbs.

Hey there! I’m Boo and I’d like to be your new best friend!

See, I’m one of those honest types. Like, super honest–almost like I don’t have a filter! For instance, I can’t play it cool–you’re probably noticing from my wagging tail that I’m eager to hang out! In fact, a snuggle on the couch would be just delightful!

I love playing outside with other dogs and then coming inside for a peaceful snooze. I’m pretty laid back and just want to chillax indoors. I’m house trained and know all of the classics like come, sit and stay. I’m totally trustworthy when it comes to leaving me home alone–no worries there!

I also love toys and I love going for fun hikes in the mountains! I have such a fun energy when I’m exploring new things!

I am working on my comfort with meeting new people right now as new people are a bit intimidating to me at the moment. I am totally content with the people I know and love but can feel defensive in general when I’m unsure of a new relationship. Therefore, I’d do best in a quieter home where I can just be happy with my humans and not need to meet tons of new people in general. And I also need to be in a home without children since I have shown to be nervous around young humans as well.

But you know what I’m not scared of? Lots of love and affection from an amazing family! I would make an incredibly loving companion for someone who understands my foibles and can help me feel safe. And I promise you that I will love you and treasure you every day forward if you are my forever person.

Will you please give me a new “leash” on life? All you have to do is email adopt@pawscoadoptions.org or fill out an adoption application at https://pawsco.org/adopt/adoption-application/. Thank you so much!

Meet Chip!

Meet Chip!

Howdy y’all, I’m Chip.

I recently moved from Eastern Colorado with my brother Carter. We used to be your typical country boys, spending our days lounging around the cornfield, but now I’m here in the Mile High city ready to meet my forever family and take advantage of everything Colorado has to offer.

When I’m not working on fitting in with my fellow Coloradans, you can find me in a game of tug-and-war with my brother Carter or curling up with him in our kennel. I love getting out and exploring my new state and meeting new people—humans big and small, and canines too. I do just fine with felines too!

As much as I’ve enjoyed my leasure time, I’ve also been hitting the books. So far I have mastered sit, using the bathroom in the appropriate place, and coming when my name is called. Pretty impressive, huh? I want to make sure I’m in tip-top shape when I meet my forever family. Which brings me to an important point: I’m currently looking for a family who can love me forever. If you want double the fun, I would LOVE to be adopted with my brother Carter. You interested?

Email my friends at PawsCo at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org or fill out an adoption application here https://pawsco.org/adoptions/adoption-application/ to learn more about having me, Chip, join your family!

Meet Keira!

Meet Keira!

Keira

Boxer mix

Female

1 year old

55 lbs.

Hello my friends! How can I say that before even meeting you? Because I consider everyone my friend.

I love kids, I love adults, and I love other dogs. I’m just a girl with a heart bursting with joy and love for all!  My ideal home will give me the opportunities for exercise and play that make energetic Boxers like me happiest.

I am respectful of the other dog in my foster house, even when eating right next to him. I love playing with him but also will calm it down when he tells me it’s time to quit.  I am trainable and motivated to learn for you; I already know several tricks. I am curious about the family cat but politely leave her alone. I do well both when I’m crated and when I’m allowed free in the home while the humans are gone. I behave well with children and like to play but with my strength and youthful exuberance I might knock over a tiny one without realizing it.

I am making good progress with walking on a leash, but I’m a strong girl and will pull to meet another dog when I see one. But continued practice will help me tame my eagerness to socialize.

So, in a nutshell I’m as affectionate as the day is long and get along with creatures great and small. Sound good? Okay, let’s seal the deal and meet soon! Please contact adopt@pawscoadoptions.org to make a date with me after you fill out this application https://pawsco.org/adoptions/adoption-application/

Meet Nalie!

Meet Nalie!

Nalie
American Staffordshire Terrier mix
Female
5 years old
70 lbs.

Are you looking for a new bestie? If so, I’m your girl! I just love being with “my person” and offer so much love and companionship. I enjoy ear scratches and belly rubs from my main squeeze but I’m also great at just hanging by your feet, playing with my toys and taking wonderful naps.

I’m always up for new adventures and enjoy going on walks, runs, hikes – anything that gets me outside in the fresh Colorado air. I’d prefer to be in a home where I’m the only pet, as I haven’t totally gotten the hang of making new dog friends. I don’t have much experience with kids, but I like people, and they’re just small people, right?

Once I’m settled into a new home, you’ll see my goofy side come out. I’m playful and love toys but also appreciate lazy afternoons. My foster says I’m a polite houseguest and am content hanging out in my crate. I promise that once you meet me, you’ll see what a special pup I am.

Meet Bubbie!

Meet Bubbie!

Bubbie
Domestic Short Hair
Male
5 years old
9 lbs.

Sweet. Low-key. Mellow. Respectful of personal space (I’d never lay on your face!)…do these sound like traits you want in your forever feline friend? Well here I am, come and get me.

I’m Bubbie and I am a quiet fellow with a perfect personality mix of friendly and confident but not demanding. It’s enough for me just to be in the same room together with you. I’m told my habit of kneading when I’m happy is especially adorable when I use all four paws at the same time. I have a sophisticated palate – shredded cheese is my favorite snack and I enjoy sipping on fresh water straight from the running faucet.

My foster home has a large well-behaved dog and I don’t mind him at all, so if you have your own respectful pooch or resident feline, I’d be OK with it. I did feel stressed in a previous home that had a dog and other cats and also was not happy living in a free-roaming cat adoption center. I just need to have my own space sometimes. I’d love nothing more than a quiet adult household where we can just bathe in each others’ presence and affection. If you have visitors I’ll be curious and friendly but a bit reserved when it comes to petting.

I lovvvve getting my head scratched but am not a fan of having my paws touched. It’s probably a result of the declawing that was done on me a long time ago. If you remember not to touch my paws I’d really appreciate it.

My foster people have noticed I have a keen interest in trying to go outside, so you’ll need to be super-careful about opening doors. I sure wouldn’t want to end up lost or endangered.

Well that’s about everything there is about me. Please contact adopt@pawscoadoptions.org to arrange a date after completing this application online https://pawsco.org/adoptions/catadoptionapplication/
