Meet Buddy!

Meet Buddy!

Buddy
German Shepherd Dog
Male
4 years

Are you a German Shepherd aficionado and experienced dog handler? I might just be the perfect guy for you. Like most GSDs, I am intensely loyal, smart and eager to please you. I bond very deeply and am a one-person dog although I’m friendly with other humans in the house.
I just love hanging out with my #1 person and am such a wonderful companion! I should not be with small humans though, only adults, because I have a nervous nature and can be defensive as a result. I’m also am a bit unsure with strangers and can be snappy at them if I’m not introduced slowly. Therefore, I’d do best in a quieter home without a ton of visitors and a human who can make sure to introduce me properly to new people. Once I build that trust, I am such a love!

I am good with other dogs and do really well with the dogs I’ve met while in my foster home! I can be a bit protective of my food and toys so I do best being fed separately from my dog friends. I currently live with cat siblings in my foster home and have done well with feline friends in the past! I already know several commands and have good house manners. I’m very affectionate with my No. 1 person, playful, goofy and all around a great dog for someone who loves my breed and the characteristics that come with it.
And one last thing! I, unfortunately, am currently heartworm positive and am being treated for it over the next few months. The kind folks at PawsCo will cover the cost of my treatment but I will need an adopter who can ensure that I have very limited activity for the next handful of months during my treatment and can take me to my vet visits (in the Denver area) until I am cleared! Once I test negative, this won’t be a continued issue (however, it is important for me to be on heartworm preventative long term.)

I promise you that I am such a catch! To find out more details about me please email adopt@pawscoadoptions.org and review adoption information here: pawsco.org/adoptions.

Meet Fargo!

Meet Fargo!

Fargo
Domestic Short Hair
Male
2 months
2 lbs. (and growing!)

My name is Fargo  and I may be a pretty quintessential kitten, but you’ll learn fast that I’m still pretty special!

First of all, I don’t get into everything like some kittens do. Also, I’m a big talker. I’ve got something to say about everything! And you should hear me purr. I will purr the second you start to pet me, and I’m good at letting you know I want you to pet me. I can be a little shy at first, but with the right introduction, I get along with kids, dogs and cats alike.

Do I sound like the kitten for you? Email my friends at PawsCo at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org or visit this information page: pawsco.org/adoptions.

Meet Priscilla!

Meet Priscilla!

Priscilla
Border Collie
Female
12 years old
38 lbs.

Hello – pleased to meet you! My name is Priscilla and at the age of 12 I found myself in a shelter and not feeling the best. Luckily, I’ve met some amazing people and now I’m getting all the love and attention I’ve been craving. There’s only one thing missing; my forever family!

My ideal family would like to:

1) Cuddle on the couch
2) Snuggle in bed
3) Go for a few low-key walks followed by more snuggling

I guess you can tell I really enjoy attention and being loved on. I love people and I’m even great with kids (but you probably could have guessed that from my laid back personality). I haven’t met any cats yet but I’ve met plenty of other dogs and I get along with them just fine too.

Since I’m a little older now I’m not very interested in running around and chasing after toys but I do looooove a comfy dog bed. In fact, I’m not too fond of sharing my bed with other pups but usually a quick bark lets them know the deal!

If you’re looking for someone to curl up with after a hectic Saturday, lounge with on a Sunday, or just de-stress with during the week then email my friends at PawsCo at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org and check out this information page: pawsco.org/adoptions!

Meet Chloe!

Meet Chloe!

Chloe
Chihuahua Mix
Female
8 years
4 lbs.

Hey, I’m Chloe, what’s your name? I’m much happier in my foster home than in the shelter, but I sure am looking forward to finding my forever family!

I admit that I need a little time to open up to people, but once I do, I’m just a complete love bug. I just love to snuggle and cuddle with my people so much! Being in a mellow, chill environment where I can show everyone just how affectionate I am is one of my favorite things.

I like to burrow in my blankets to get nice and cozy, but will peek out to keep an eye on what’s going on around me. I get along with dogs and cats as long as they respect my space, but it might be best for me to be in a home that doesn’t have kids, since they can be a little excited and loud sometimes. I am a little hard of hearing, but I respond to hand signals. Isn’t that cool?

So what do you say? Do you need a whole lotta love in your life? Email my friends at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org and check out this information page: pawsco.org/adoptions.

Meet Bombay!

Meet Bombay!

Bombay
Terrier Mix
Female
2 years old
19 lbs.

You saw my picture; you know that I’m pretty and that I’m the perfect snuggle size. And I know you saw my picture and continued here to read to my bio, so you must be interested in getting to know me better!

So basically… I am the total package! I’m a full-contact cuddler, I’m silly, I’m sweet, and I’m laid-back. I can deal with hanging out in a crate and I’m potty-trained. I LOVE to give kisses and so sweet and playful with people. I sometimes take a bit to completely warm up to a new person but once I build that trust, I’m a total love bug.

I can be a bit picky about my dog friends. I’m good with mellow, easy going dogs who give me my space but I don’t do great with super energetic dogs who want to play. Therefore, I’d like to meet a future dog buddy prior to adoption to make sure we’re compatible (and I’d also do great as an only dog in the home!) PawsCo hasn’t observed me with cats but the shelter I came from said I have done well in the past with cat friends.

So, now that I’ve certainly passed the “what a cute dog” picture test and the “sounds like the perfect dog” bio test, the only thing left is the meet and greet before I am in your arms! Email my friends at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org and check out this information page: pawsco.org./adoptions.

Meet Bebe!

Meet Bebe!

Bebe
Shepherd MIx
Female
1 year old
52 lbs.

Oh hey there, my name is Bebe and I’m so happy to be here at PawsCo looking for my new family!

I love pretty much everybody and everything, including all the people I meet, both adults and kids, and dogs, although I can be a little bit anxious at first. I love to play in the backyard with my foster siblings Receiving affection is one of my favorite things, especially if it involved getting pets on the head or on my belly.

When I’m not playing in the backyard, I like to play with toys and with my people. I like going on walks too, but can lie down and chill out when everyone’s relaxing for the day. Iam still pretty close in age to being a puppy, so I have a few bad habits that I need some help getting rid of, but I promise that I more than make up for that with my sweet, playful personality.

Do you think we’d be a good fit?? I bet we would! To find out, email my friends at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org and check out this information page: pawsco.org/adoptions.

Judy
Terrier Mix
Female
7 years old
57 lbs.

Well hello there, I’m so glad to meet you. My name is Judy and I’m one of those dogs who just gets along with everybody. Doesn’t that sound ideal?

I am a calm and mellow girl who has had some challenges in my life, but I don’t let that stop me from giving lots of love to everyone, from humans both big and small to new dog and cat friends! I was found as a stray after a big fire, but a nice man found me and I made my way to PawsCo, where they’re helping me find a forever family.

I know that all dogs wag their tails, but I’m one of those pups who gets so excited to see my people that I wiggle my whole back end. I just love people so much that I can’t help myself. I love to receive affection as much as I like to give it, and I can sit and come when called.

What do you say? Does a loving, mellow dog with a heart of gold sound like your cup of tea? If so, email my friends at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org and check out this information page: pawsco.org/adoptions.

Meet Molly!

Meet Molly!

Molly
Airedale Terrier Mix
Female
7 years old
55 lbs.

Hi everyone! I’m Molly and I’m so happy to meet you! I have had some ups and downs in life and been let down by some people, but I just know that if I stay positive, I’ll find a family who will love me forever.

I’m a sweet, calm, loving girl who loves to play and snuggle. I can be a little shy and nervous when meeting new people, and I’m a little too excitable when it comes to meeting cats, but you’ll find that I’m just about the best dog you can imagine once I get comfortable.

I know my own name and even a few tricks. Plus, I won’t even try and steal your food like a lot of other dogs will. Doesn’t that sound nice? I like to go on walks and I get really happy when my people get home, but I won’t go crazy jumping all over you. Seems like a pretty good balance to me.

If that all sounds like a pretty ideal combo, email my friends at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org and check out this information page: pawsco.org/adoptions.

Meet Thane!

Domestic Short Hair
Male

3 lbs. (and growing!)

My name is Thane and I can’t wait to find my purrfect forever family!

I am just as cute as can be and I have the sweetest purr you’ve ever heard. I haven’t experienced very much love before finding my way to my loving foster home with PawsCo so I am still learning all about being comfortable with people. I so badly want to be pet but it just makes me nervous so I need a family who can be patient with me and continue to help me build my confidence.

I LOVE other cats and I’m even great at being friends with dogs too! I think I’d do best in a home with another furry friend as it will help me continue to build my confidence.

Thanks for stopping by my page and I’m looking forward to meeting you! To learn more about me, please email my friends at PawsCo at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org or visit this information page: pawsco.org/adoptions.

Meet Minnie!

Meet Minnie!

Minnie
American Staffordshire Terrier Mix
Female
2 years old
44 lbs.

Whew, sorry I’m a little out of breath. I have a hard time slowing down from playing sometimes, but for a forever family, I can definitely take a break!

My name is Minnie, and I just love to run and play. Hiking, jogging, I love it all. And if you like those things too, we might just be a match. I love to play with toys and with other dogs too, and my foster mom says it’s especially cute to watch me play with little dogs. I’m pretty curious about cats and sometimes I get a little too intense in my attempts to play with them, so it might be best if I’m in a house that doesn’t have any.

I’m a cuddly girl too, but I don’t lick a bunch like some dogs do, so if that’s not your thing, I’m definitely your girl. But I do love to snuggle up to my people and am really affectionate. And guess what else? I’m not just athletic and affectionate, I’m smart too. I know a bunch of tricks and am learning more all the time.

I do have some itchy skin right now and my nice vet told me to eat a special kind of prescription food. I may also need to be on allergy medication. My friends at PawsCo can talk to you more about my medical needs.

So what do you say? Are you up for a girl who’s the whole package? Shoot my friends at PawsCo an email at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org and visit this information page pawsco.org/adoptions.

Meet Eve!

Meet Eve!

Eve
Shepherd/Lab Mix
Female
58 lbs
8 years old

Hey guys, I’m Eve and I’m here to find a great new beginning with a new forever family!

I am the happiest girl and all I want to do is make a forever family happy as well! I am always wagging my tail and looking for affection from my foster family and love to be pet and cuddled. I am active and fun (I would be a great hiking buddy!) but I also can just hang out around the house and be your loyal companion.

I also already know some basic commands, I’m completely potty trained, and am great with free roam of the house when my foster family is away. I can be a little bit picky about the other dogs in the house so I’d prefer to be your one and only! I also would do best in a home without really young kiddos but would do just fine with kids 10+.

So if you think you’re ready to help this girl find her new forever, email my friends at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org and visit this information page pawsco.org/adoptions.

Meet Hooky!

Meet Hooky!

Hooky

American Pit Bull Terrier Mix

Male

7 months old
42 lbs. (and growing!)

Hi hi hi! My name is Hooky and I’m so excited to meet you! Despite the name I promise not to slack off when it comes to snuggles and play time!

So here’s the thing; I’m an adorably goofy puppy but I’ve had a bit of a tough start to life. I can be a little shy and fearful at first but once I get to know you I’m a typical bouncy puppy that’s all about toys and treats! For now, I’m just taking everything really slowly and making sure I feel totally comfortable before opening up. I get especially anxious if I have to go to the vet or any other loud/busy building. It reminds me a lot of the shelter and I definitely do NOT want to go back there!

My foster family has been great and I’ve been learning all kinds of new things. For example, I know tricks like “sit” and “down” and even run to my kennel on command! I love my kennel because it’s my safe place so I don’t mind spending time in there if you’re not home. The quickest way to my heart is through T-R-E-A-T-S! I’m a very smart pup and catch on extra quickly if there’s a little incentive. I also love going for walks and chewing on squeaky toys. It’s the simple things in life!

My foster family has also introduced me to kitties and a few other canine siblings. I definitely enjoy another dog friend but I’d probably be ok as an only pup as well and I’m a little too rough with cats (I guess they’re not quite the same size as me). Do you know any kids? I happen to LOVE kids and tend to warm up to them the fastest. I guess I can just tell they are small and learning like me! Since I’m still young, it might be good for me to go to a home where there are social dogs around so that I can learn from them. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, after all!

I’m ready to start blossoming into a spunky, goofy, playful guy with my forever family so if you think you’re ready to commit to lots of snuggle time and yummy training sessions just reach out to my friends at PawsCo at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org and visit this information page: pawsco.org/adoptions and let’s do it!
