Meet Chiavis!

Meet Chiavis!

Chiavis
Chihuahua Mix
Female

Have you ever been just so dang excited, or maybe kinda nervous, that you piddle, just a little? Isn’t it just so embarrassing!?  I Googled it and it’s really no big deal though; I read that I should outgrow it before much longer. It’s kinda funny too because it never happens to me because of loud noises, like when the vacuum is running or when a loud truck rumbles by. It only seems to happen when someone moves too fast towards me. But, if they say “hello” nice and patient like, well then, no piddle! And man, once I know for sure that the someone is nice, my shyness is gone in a flash and I become one confident, calm and uber friendly cuddle bug!

I think it is because of my small stature. Everything is bigger than me! But being smallish defintely has some advantages: I can fly thru any doggie door, I like my crate because it is nice and spacious, and I can fit in any lap!

A little more about me: I like friendly dogs, I like nice kids and I don’t even mind cats. I love walking, I really love snuggling and I have a super happy dance that I will do every time you come home!

So, about that home of yours….Can’t you just see me in it? It’s pretty easy to make it happen. Just fill out this dog application https://pawsco.org/adoptions/adoption-application and then email it to my PawsCo pals at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org. That’ll get the ol’ tennis ball rolling!

Meet Hiro!

Meet Hiro!

Hiro
Lab/Greyhound Mix
Male
2 years old
64 lbs.

Yippee! A new friend! I’m Hiro, and I absolutely LOVE meeting new people!

Like my celebrity role model Hugh Jackman, I’m a bit of a people pleaser. I’m super friendly and love everyone! At the dog park, I love greeting people and playing with the other dogs. I zoom around showcasing my graceful running style – I’d run all day if you let me! I’ll even sing and dance if the mood strikes!

Like Hugh said, “If you love something, you don’t just read about it; you hug it, you mess with it, you play with it.” I’m smart and inquisitive, so I want to enjoy the heck out of life! It’s so fun to chase birds and squirrels, or goof around with toys. Toys! What’s not to love about toys? And snacks! What’s not to love about snacks? There are so many things that make me burst with joy!

So yep, I have too much energy to be a couch dog. I’d love to find someone who wants to live life to the fullest with me! We could go hiking, biking, train for marathons–I’ll be the best adventure buddy you could hope for! We could even compete in canine agility events if that sounds fun. Think of all the new friends we’ll make together. After a day well spent, I’ll be your snuggle pal who might just try to sit in your lap. Cuddling makes me super happy, too!

Can you please email adopt@pawscoadoptions.org or fill out an adoption application at https://pawsco.org/adopt/adoption-application/? I will jump for joy!

Meet Princess Caroline!

Meet Princess Caroline!

Princess Caroline
Domestic Shorthair
Female
3 months
2 lbs (and growing!)

My name is Princess Caroline and I came to PawsCo with my siblings, but I can’t wait to find a family of my own!

What makes up a kitten? Sugar and spice and everything nice? Well, yes, and lucky for you, I’ve got all of that and more! I’m just as sweet as can be. I love to cuddle and LOVE to play. I have so much fun with my human friends in my foster home and I also adore dog friends as well!

Right now, I am testing positive for FIV, which is an immunodeficiency virus (which means I would have a more fragile immune system all my life and will need regular vet visits to ensure that I’m happy and healthy!) There is a VERY good chance that my test results are a false positive (it can be common for a kitten to test positive because of antibodies in their system from mom but not actually be FIV positive.) I will need to be retested for FIV when I am 6 months old (it is a very affordable, easy blood test!) to confirm whether I am positive or negative. And the folks at PawsCo can fill you in on lots more details as well!

Meet Matilda!

Meet Matilda!

Matilda
Domestic Short Hair
Female
1 year
6 lbs.

Abracatabra!

Matilda’s the name and I have magical, mystical kitten powers. I may be a little shy because of my rough start in life, but like a phoenix rising from the ashes, I’ve been able to come out from under my cape to spread love, cuddles, and purrs wherever I go.

Since magic is exhausting work, I can often be found napping. And if you can’t find me at all, it’s not because I decided to hide. No. No. It’s that I am practicing my disappearing tricks. Poof!

My magic has allowed me to be a young, independent artist, but truth be told, I wouldn’t mind going to a forever home that has other budding magicians too. I enjoy dog, cat, and human magicians alike.

If you need some enchantment in your life, look no further!  You can contact my friends at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org and fill out an adoption application at https://pawsco.org/adopt/catadoptionapplication/ to learn more!
