Domestic Short Hair
1 year old
Hi guys! Kate here! I’m super glad to be at PawsCo looking for a family to take me home and love me forever.
I’m a confident girl who settled in fast in foster care, which means I’d probably fit in perfectly with your family too. I got along with my two canine and one feline foster siblings and was having a good time exploring the place right away. I have a pretty moderate amount of energy, so I’m happy both snoozing and playing with all kinds of toys.
I’m a big talker, so you’ll always know what I have to say about things, and I love new people, especially if they give cuddles and snuggles. I’m a big lover, see. I even like getting kisses and being brushed, which helps keep shedding down. Doesn’t that sound ideal? One thing you should know: I do have a heart defect which causes my heart to work harder than other cats. I need to be on a medication long-term (costs about $10/month) to help with that and this is a lifelong condition. I’ll need some extra vet care every 6 months like bloodwork and a heart echo (just to make sure everything is looking ok!) and just an understanding from my family that this may affect the longevity of my life. I promise that I will offer you so much love and companionship and am so grateful for wonderful people out in the world who will give a special medical needs cat like me a loving home! The kind folks at PawsCo can fill you in on a lot more details.
What do you say? Should we get together and see if it’s a fit? Email my friends at firstname.lastname@example.org and check out this information page: pawsco.org/adoptions.
